*When Love is a Vampire*

First the fangs caresses your skin,
sending fireworks upon it’s touch.

Then it pierces into your skin,
the pain mistaken for pleasure.

Slowly the blood is oozed out,
at first you won’t realize it.

Then as the reality strikes,
you try to pry out of its grasp.

But it is too strong and you too weak,
and your struggle hurts you more than it frees.

So you stop fighting,
as tears escape you,
whimpering at the pain,
regretting everything.
